In terms of features, Tata Motors has also updated the top-spec XZ+ trim in both the Tiago and Tigor range. The Tiago XZ+ gets a new midnight plum color option with a dual-tone black and beige interior theme. The rest of the range has been given a black and gray interior theme as before. engine
Coming to the engine, the Tiago CNG and Tigor CNG are powered by a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder Revotron petrol engine. The petrol engine generates 86hp power and 113Nm peak torque. On the other hand, if we talk about the engine of the CNG variant launched, its engine produces 73hp of power and 95Nm of peak torque. This means that there is a difference of 13hp power and 18Nm of peak torque between the respective petrol and CNG versions of the Tiago and Tigor. Additionally, despite the increased weight (approximately 100kgs), the ground clearance of the Tiago stands at 168mm while that of the Tigor is 165mm.
Transmission options on both models include only a 5-speed manual gearbox. The highlight of this CNG car is that the Tiago and Tigor CNG can be started directly in CNG mode, which is a feature that is not offered by any of its rivals.
