Citroen’s CNG car will compete with Maruti and Tata’s CNG cars, may be launched soon

Citroën C3 CNG India Launch: French car maker Citroën is preparing to spread its charm in the Indian market in the coming times. Along with its premium SUV Citroën C5 Aircross, the company has also introduced an affordable car called Citroën C3 and now news is coming that soon it can introduce Citroën C3 in electric as well as CNG option. Yes, amidst the good demand for CNG cars, Citroën is also trying to spread its foot in this segment and in the coming times, people can definitely get Citroën C3 CNG as an alternative to Tata and Mahindra’s CNG cars.

The current price starts from Rs 5.88 lakhs.
At present, let us tell you that the company has introduced the Citroën C3 in 3 trim levels like 1.0L Live, 1.0L Feel and 1.0L turbo-petrol Feel, whose ex-showroom prices range from Rs 5.88 lakhs to Rs 8.15 lakhs. Lakhs up to Rs. Currently, this hatchback is only available with manual transmission, which is available in 1.2L 3 cylinder naturally aspirated and 1.2L 3 cylinder turbo petrol engine options.

Bet on CNG
If media reports are to be believed, the Citroën C3 may be introduced with a CNG option next year and it is currently in the testing phase. The upcoming C3 CNG could be offered with a 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol engine and factory fitted CNG kit and will be lower in power than the regular gasoline unit. The Citroen C3 CNG will compete with cars like Tata Tiago CNG and Maruti Swift CNG. The good news among all this is that the Citroën C3 Electric will also be launched soon, the starting price of which can be up to Rs 10 lakh. More detailed information about this will come in the coming time.
