Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 2022: Maruti Suzuki has launched a new variant of its affordable hatchback Alto, the new Alto K10. Its ex-showroom price starts from Rs 3.99 lakh. Talking about changes, the exterior and interior design of the new Alto K10 has not only been revamped but its engine has also been given a new one. The company has already started booking the new Alto for Rs 11,000.
More than 15 safety features
The new model of Maruti Alto comes with updates like a friendly interface, floating infotainment system, smart seating layout, and less cabin space. To make driving easier, Maruti Suzuki has given auto-shift gear in this car. It also has more than 15 safety features including double front airbags, an anti-braking system. The company has launched the new Alto in 6 colors. Customers have also been given the option to customize the new Alto K10 as per their choice.
2022 Maruti Alto K10 Engine
Talking about the engine of the new Maruti Alto K10, then it has been given the next generation K-Series 1.0-liter dual jet petrol engine. This is a 1.0-liter naturally aspirated engine that generates 66 Bhp of power at 5,500 rpm and 89 Nm of torque at 3,500 rpm. Talking about mileage, the company claims that this engine will deliver fuel economy of up to 24.9kmpl.
2022 Maruti Alto K10 Features
Talking about the special features of the new Maruti Suzuki Alto K10, it has a 7-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system. Apart from Apple Car Play, and Android Auto, this infotainment system also supports USB, Bluetooth, and auxiliary cables. The company has also given a new design to the steering wheel in it. In this, the infotainment system’s mounted controls have been given on the steering itself. For safety, the new Alto has been introduced with dual front airbags, rear parking sensors, ABS, and reverse parking sensors.

The new Maruti Alto K10 measures 3,530mm in length, 1,490mm in width, 1,520mm in height, and 2,380mm in wheelbase. The height and wheelbase of the new Alto K10 have been increased compared to the old model. This new version of Maruti Suzuki’s Alto car is based on the company’s updated platform Heartect.
